Early Spanish floor tile decorated with Malve flower leaves and Malve flowers in each corner. Border bears the Gothic text of: "Cec va el guit per via" in combination with the Malve flowers which in the XV century was the flower of love the text can be translated as: Love makes Blind. Tile was in a floor “Calle Padre de huerfanos 1” Valencia, recovered in 1907. Building demolished in 1949. Owner of that building was Berenguer Martin de Torres y Agilar who was handled finances of Dona Maria, woman of Alfons V van Aragon (1396 – 1458). condition of tile is very good, glaze is a little uneven and dull. Backside with some chips.
